Efficiency ratings help you compare equipment. They don’t predict your exact utility bill.
SEER2
Seasonal cooling efficiency. A higher rating generally means less electricity for the same cooling output under standardized test conditions.
HSPF2
Seasonal heat-pump heating efficiency. A higher rating generally means more heating delivered per unit of electricity under the test conditions.
AFUE
Annual furnace fuel-to-heat efficiency. A 96% AFUE furnace converts about 96% of fuel energy into heat under the rating method. That does not mean 96% off your heating bill.
Compare the same rating system and the actual matched equipment. Your energy use also depends on weather, utility rates, insulation, ductwork, thermostat settings, sizing, and installation.

Inverter-driven comfort
A variable-speed compressor adjusts its output to changing heating and cooling needs, helping maintain steady comfort. Available on select models, including HH8 and YH9.
Variable-speed airflow
A variable-speed indoor blower adjusts airflow to support quieter circulation, more even temperatures, and humidity control when paired and configured correctly. It is a separate feature from the outdoor compressor.
Hybrid heating flexibility
Pair a compatible heat pump with a gas furnace for electric heating with gas backup when conditions call for it. Exact equipment matches and controls must be verified.
Features vary by model and matched system. Final equipment, controls, and performance are confirmed during system design. Savings depend on climate, utility rates, and setup.

10-year limited parts warranty on qualifying registered YORK® residential equipment.*
Registration is generally required within 90 days of installation, or closing for new construction. Standard parts coverage is generally 5 years without timely registration, except where law provides otherwise.
*Product, purchaser, application, installation, and maintenance conditions apply. Manufacturer parts coverage excludes labor, refrigerant, and routine maintenance. Accessories and optional protection plans have separate terms. See the selected equipment’s written warranty. This residential statement does not apply to every product or commercial application.
